ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm David
Protecting America's Future: Economically, Environmentally & Socially
Why I'm Running
First and foremost, I am a husband, a father, a veteran, and a patriot. My family has lived in southeastern North Carolina since the early 1700s, and members of my family have served in every major American war. This state and this nation mean something to me- they are not just ideas, but living legacies of sacrifice and perseverance.
The America I grew up in no longer exists. The world has changed rapidly. I’ve lived through the race riots of the 1990s, the Y2K panic, September 11th, the 2008 financial crisis, the COVID disaster, and the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. Today, our nation stands buried under $38 trillion in debt, giving away billions to foreign interests while our own infrastructure crumbles and the American middle class is bled dry.
As a young man from Fayetteville, I joined the Army at 18 as an infantryman. I earned my first Purple Heart in combat before I was even old enough to drink a beer. I came home with the invisible wounds of war- PTSD, TBI, and the battles that followed: suicidal ideation, addiction, and instability. But I overcame those struggles. I rebuilt myself. I became a community leader here in Wilmington- serving in veterans’ groups, church men’s ministries, environmental efforts, and rehabilitation programs. I’ve dedicated my life to service- not to take, but to give.

The Call to Serve Again
I want representation from men like me- a warrior, tested and proven. A man who believes in term limits and in stepping aside so that others can rise to serve. A man who has stared down death and is still willing to charge the hill for what is right.
When I look at my daughters, I cannot accept the status quo. I refuse to stand silent as our society decays, as our young people are preyed upon, as our nation’s values are stripped away. I want to leave my children a country where:
-
We trust our neighbors again.
-
We can leave our doors unlocked.
-
We live in a high-trust, high-functioning society rooted in decency, faith, and honor.
If not me- then who?
If not now- then when?
Honor, Integrity, and Accountability
I am a man of honor. Integrity matters to me. I will not waste the people’s time or money for personal gain, status, or ambition. That’s why, when I am elected, I will forfeit my right- and that of my immediate family- to trade individual stocks, limiting investments solely to North Carolina–based bonds. My focus will be entirely on the people I serve- not personal enrichment. Washington has enough self-serving politicians. That ends now.

Rebuilding the American Dream
I know what it’s like to fight uphill. I know how hard it is for young Americans today- to start a family, buy a home, and build a stable life. Too many are crushed by debt, broken homes, and hopelessness. Our daughters are being sold lies about empowerment while being exploited online. Our sons are growing up without role models or purpose. The American Dream has become just that- a dream.
It doesn’t have to be this way.
We can restore dignity, faith, and purpose.
We can rebuild a culture of honor, strength, and family.
I want to inspire a new generation- especially young men- to live with courage, responsibility, and love of community. That’s how we rebuild a high-trust society worth fighting and dying for.
To Be, Rather Than to Seem
I’m not your traditional politician. I’m not here for photo ops or empty decorum. I’m here to win the cultural, economic, spiritual, and moral battles that define our nation’s future. I nearly died for this country once- I’m ready to fight for it again.
America deserves leaders who are willing to stand, bleed, and sacrifice for the ideals that make this nation great. Honor must once again guide those who represent the people.
Vote for me - to bring honor, integrity, and accountability back to Washington.
To be, rather than to seem.
